I don't use Bisquick often enough to keep it on hand, but once in a while a recipe calls for a cup or two and that's where this recipe comes to the rescue. :)
1 c. flour 1 ½ tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. shortening Mix dry ingredients together in a small bowl. Cut in shortening using a pastry blender. Use in place of 1 cup Bisquick in recipes.
